Construction Project Underway on Pioneer Street Beginning on April 29, we are replacing a water main on Pioneer Street. Expect to encounter construction crews from Lyndon Jones, our contractor, from Fort Street east to the railroad tracks. This is part of regularly scheduled maintenance of our infrastructure, and we expect the project to continue for up to 60 days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due date is the 22nd of each month

Hose Bib Winterizing Tips

If you have installed an aftermarket hose bib vacuum breaker, you need to winterize it.

The best way to protect your backflow assembly from our harsh Utah winter temperatures is to remove the unit and store it in a warm place.

Make sure to cover the open ends of the line that are sticking out of the ground with something to prevent dirt, debris, and insects etc. from entering the system.

HOW TO DRAIN A PRESSURE VACUUM BREAKER (PVB)

  1. Shut off the culinary water supply at the stop and waste.
  2. Open all ball valves.
