Let’s face it, most of us have many demands on our time. So why should you set aside an evening to attend our annual Stockholders’ Meeting?
Here are a few reasons:
- To help shape your community. Draper Irrigation Company’s Board of Directors makes decisions that may affect your household or business. Come to the meeting to vote for directors who will represent your interests.
- To participate in a direct democracy. We need to have a certain number of stockholders either come to the meeting or deliver a proxy vote in order to meet a quorum and hold a valid election. Your vote counts!
To learn about the past and see into the future. We will give a presentation of what the company has done during 2013 and what we have planned for 2014. Access to clean, safe water is one of the compelling issues of our time, and the actions that the company takes now will directly affect your family’s well-being in the future.
Ballots for our Board of Directors will be distributed to all stockholders before the meeting, to be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Room, Draper City Hall, 1020 E Pioneer Road. If you can’t attend the meeting, please return your ballot to WaterPro’s office before March 26.
