As hiking season gets into full swing, we’d like to remind everyone that dogs are not allowed in Corner Canyon above the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Below the trail, dogs are allowed on-leash only.
To repeat: Dogs are never allowed in the watershed, and never allowed off-leash in any area of Corner Canyon. There are signs in the area clearly setting out the rules. Failure to follow the rules is a Class B misdemeanor, and Draper City has the power to ticket and fine offenders.
These guidelines were passed unanimously by the Draper City Council, and are necessary to protect the watershed and to protect the safety of all visitors to the park.
